Good Schools Pennsylvania is a statewide organization of parents and citizens concerned about adequate and equal public education around the state. It is concerned with fair funding for all the counties in Pennsylvania. It is organized around a number of chapters that meet monthly, write to legislators, hold vigils in Harrisburg, and in general keep education issues in the forefront of people's minds. Religious organizations and colleges have taken the lead on applying pressure to the legislators to find ways to better fund public schools and assure good performance.
