Community Behavioral Health
As a Community Support Program, Philadelphia has come up with a variety of  approaches to help persons with mental illness and addictions live successfully in the community. This includes services such as peer-support, housing, vocational training and employment, income maintenance, medical care and rehabilitation.  Community Behavioral Health can help you access these services. Liberty Resources, Inc - Liberty Resources, Inc. is a non-profit, consumer driven organization that advocates and promotes Independent Living for persons with disabilities. Liberty Resources provides information on Managed Care for individuals with disabilities including how to access services and get help with HMO’s. They have a Managed Care hotline 215-634-2000 ext. 214 which can help you if you are having trouble getting medical care or services under the Medical Assistance Program.
